The 1st Annual Seacoast 7s was held on June 28th at the Seacoast United Soccer Club, the premier facility in New England. The 4 Field Turf pitches offer the fastest surface around. Check out the following Seacoast United website for pictures and more information:

NRU Update

After the 2nd NRU Preliminary at Springfield last Saturday Old Blue is at the top of the NRU point chart with a significant lead over 2nd pl;ace NYAC.  Long Island is in 3rd, only 1 point behind.  This weekend's results at the Seacoast 7s will determine who wins the #2 seed to avoid facing Old Blue in pool play in the Championship.  The NRU Men's 7's Championship will be held on Saturday, July 19th at Princeton, NJ.

Here are the NRU Men's 7s standings as of 6/22/2008:

2- NYAC      - 10.5
3- Long Island-9.5
4- Boston     - 6
